Article 1 (Purpose)

To protect and safeguard basic human rights, our Company and subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as the Company) recognize and support the spirit and basic principles of human rights protection enshrined in international human rights treaties, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact, and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. This policy has been established to fulfill the responsibility of respecting and protecting human rights and to comply with labor laws and regulations in the Company's locations.

Article 2 (Protection of Human Rights in the Workplace)

The Company prohibits forced labor, human trafficking, child labor, sexual harassment, and other human rights violations. We do not discriminate against employees on the basis of race, class, language, ideology, religion, party affiliation, nationality, place of birth, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, appearance, facial features, physical or mental disabilities, astrological sign, blood type, or union membership, etc. We ensure the protection of employees' human rights in the workplace and provide a dignified and equal workplace environment.

Article 3 (Implementation of Equal Pay for Equal Work)

The Company shall not discriminate in the payment of wages to employees based on gender or sexual orientation. Those who perform the same work or have the same value shall be paid the same wages. However, this does not apply to cases based on seniority, rewards and punishments, performance or other legitimate reasons not based on gender or sexual orientation.

Article 4 (Providing a Healthy and Safe Workplace)

The Company complies with relevant laws and regulations on occupational safety and health. We provide employees with a safe, healthy, and hygienic workplace environment through safety and health work, education and training, employee health checkups, and health promotion activities. These improve the physical and mental health of employees, enhance the safety and health conditions of the work environment, and reduce the risk of occupational accidents.

Article 5 (Support for Freedom of Association)

The Company respects the right of employees to form and join various associations and organizations. We also provide appropriate and diversified activities to enhance the work-life balance of our employees.

Article 6 (Promotion of Labor Harmony)

The Company cares about and manages issues related to the labor rights of employees. The Company also provides channels for employees to file complaints or make suggestions to ensure communication between employers and employees, and to protect and promote employees.

Article 7 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Company complies with the laws and regulations on the protection of personal information, and ensures that the collection, handling, and utilization of personal information abides to the laws and regulations. The Company also protects and safeguards the rights and interests of personal information.

Article 8 (Advocation of Human Rights Policy)

In addition to supporting and practicing the protection of human rights, the Company encourages business partners, including suppliers, to share their concern for human rights issues and to emphasize the management of related risks.

Article 9 (Date of effect and Revision)

This policy shall be effective upon approval by the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The same applies to revisions. 

This policy was established on January 1, 2023.
