Sustainable Development Committee
On 08 May 2024, the Company established a Sustainable Development Committee through a Resolution of the board of Directors, serving as the highest guiding organisation for the Company's sustainable governance operations. All members are Directors, consisting of two Directors and three Independent Directors. Initially, the Taiwan Liaison Office of the holding company will serve as the development centre, progressively and effectively promoting the setting and execution of the Group's overall sustainability goals, integrating the ESG concept into the business strategy. Report to the Director's meeting regularly (at least once a year), presenting the ESG implementation plan and promotion results to the Director's meeting.
The committee has four major functional groups: the 'Corporate Governance Group,' the 'Sustainable Environment Group,' the 'Social Welfare Group,' and the 'Sustainable Information Disclosure Group.' Each group is led by the respective unit heads responsible for promoting various projects or measures to address significant issues in each area, effectively integrating resources and implementing them into daily operations.
The Director will regularly review ESG-related reports, with the convener of the Sustainability Committee reporting ESG implementation results and annual work objectives to the Director. The Director will then evaluate and review the progress, and provide adjustment suggestions.
