IKKA fully recognises the critical importance of environmental protection. To effectively advance and implement environmental management, our facilities in Tokyo, Japan, Thailand, China, Malaysia, and Vietnam have all obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification. This establishes comprehensive organisational structures, policies, and associated management practices. Office operations are guided by the principles of energy conservation, carbon reduction, and efficient resource utilisation. We plan and implement various management measures to minimise the environmental impact arising from our operational processes.

Implementation status

The energy management plan established in 2025, with 2025 as the base year, does not yet permit comparison of achievement levels.

Energy-saving measures

To enhance energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint, the company has implemented the following energy-saving measures across all operational venues:

  1. Procure electrical appliances bearing the energy-saving label.
  2. Maintain air conditioning temperature settings between 26–28 degrees Celsius; promote closing doors promptly to prevent cool air leakage.
  3. Regularly clean air conditioning filters and maintain equipment to preserve operational efficiency and minimise power consumption.
  4. Replace all lighting fixtures with LED alternatives.
  5. Continuously promote energy-saving principles and display reminder notices.
  6. Advocate energy conservation policies, such as ensuring lights are switched off in communal areas and setting office equipment to energy-saving mode.

Future Plans

The implementation of an intelligent energy monitoring system will enable real-time monitoring and analysis of electricity consumption. This initiative aims to enhance the precision of energy management decisions through data-driven approaches, while progressively expanding the scope of energy-saving measures to actively advance towards low-carbon operations.
