SBTi* (Science Based Targets initiative): An initiative that calls on private companies and various organizations to set greenhouse gas emission reduction targets based on science in order to achieve the goals of the "Paris Agreement," and is operated by international NGOs CDP, WRI, WWF, and UNGC. "SBTi" certifies greenhouse gas reduction targets that comply with the "Paris Agreement" as "scientifically supported targets."
